Ever since I posted some classic Vintage Slug Advertising of yesteryear people have come up to me in the street and asked me just where I managed to obtain such quality published incitements to purchase slugs and slug-related paraphernalia. My answer: my extensive collection of slug magazines dating back numerous decades and from all four slug-trailed corners of the globe.
Slug magazines such as these:

Modern Slug
Slughouse
Weird Slug Stories
Slugissimo!

When I was a kid I wanted a slug for a pet so I put it in a cup but did not put a lid on it .Actually I had about 3 of them in the cup so they wouldn’t get lonely. Well, they climbed out of the cup and got tangled up in my curtains (cuz I had them sitting on the window sill) which was like a mesh kind of thing. They swelled up so I couldn’t get them out of the mesh, and I didn’t want to kill them with salt, so I cut them out of the curtain. Thank gawd my dad never found out or I would have gotten the belt for sure! I don’t like slugs anymore.
