Outside The Fountain
There's a man who's frequently outside The Fountain, a pub we have to pass at lunchtime between the sandwich place where my colleague buys his lunch and the point by Chichester Cross where I usually stalk photographic victims. This man is fairly old, wears fairly old clothes, always has a hat, has a pint, and smokes; he would make a great subject and so I've been trying to photograph him for ages but he's got a nasty habit of turning away. This isn't the shot I've been going for but it does feature him in the middle ground beyond the advertising signs. I will get him properly one day but I quite liked the relatively busy quality of this shot that I took on the walk past the pub so this will do for now. Google+: View post on...
Nokia Lumia 800
So, I went and upgraded my old phone to the brand new Nokia Lumia 800 running Windows Phone 7.5 today. It's my first experience with Windows Phone OS and I have to say it's damned impressive. Add in a wonderfully-built bit of hardware and I think it's fair to say that I love this phone. Google+: View post on...
Red Accordion
A group of buskers regularly entertain the shoppers of Chichester on a Wednesday afternoon. Today they were joined by a red-haired musician playing a red accordion. Amongst their folk repertoire there was a short rendition of Led Zeppelin which I found very enjoyable. Submitted for #welovemusicwednesday curated by +Folletto Folletto and +Harmony Goodson. Empty Bench
En route to the usual stalking spot for street photos today we stopped off in the gardens at the back of the cathedral so that my colleague could eat his just-purchased lunch. We ended up sitting near to the pond, opposite this bench and it somehow ended up getting photographed. Google+: View post on...
Two Men
Two men enjoying the bright sunshine today, having a chat, one of them having a smoke (we won't get into how I feel about that again). It was cold and the lunchtime brightness seemed especially harsh today which provided a bit of a photographic challenge. Google+: View post on...
Pink Lady
Such a contrast to yesterday's weather, today has been dreary, dull, dismal, and desperately cold at times (I tried to think of something more alliterative there but failed; forgive me). Subsequently, this lady in her shocking pink coat did stand out from the crowd, itself noticeably thinner than of late. Google+: View post on...
