Man On The Phone

Coupled with my recent shot of the girl in the alleyway you could be forgiven for thinking that I'm considering starting a trend of taking pictures of people on phones from the rear. However, #PeopleTalkingOnTheirPhonesShotFromBehindThursday doesn't really have a very catchy ring to it so I won't be attempting to transform these photos into a fully-fledged Google+ daily theme. Let's all breathe a sigh of relief. This was just one of those last moment shots taken mere metres from the entrance to where I work on the way back at the end of today's lunchtime in the glorious March sunshine; this man – a worker in the nearby council offices I imagine – stepped over to the wall to make a call and it gave me the opportunity to stop, compose myself, and shoot from close range after a rather disappointing prevailing hour where nothing too noteworthy begged to be captured. Girl On A Bicycle

Not a lot to say about this other than, as you can see, it's clearly a girl on a bicycle. She was coasting through the precinct in Chichester when I caught her and, using amazing skills only the top photographers possess you might notice that I've managed to time to perfection that eyes closed moment we all seek. Or… she might have been cycling without looking the whole time. Grass

I don't think I've taken part in #GrassTuesday , curated by +Ray Bilcliff and +Marilou Aballe before. But now I have. There are definitely signs of life in the garden of Chichester Cathedral but nothing interesting quite flowering yet; however, grass always looks nice so I fired off a few shots and decided to treat this particular one to a little light processing to lift the spirits too. Girl In An Alleyway

I took very few photos today and this happened to be the last one on the slow stroll back to the office at the end of lunchtime; I spotted this girl duck down into an alleyway to take a call away from the slightly noisier surrounds of Chichester's shopping precinct and as I walked past I paused briefly to take this shot as I liked how close she was to the brickwork of the wall.
