Project 365 – Week Forty Four
These are the photos of week forty four of the Photo Every Day project. I know! Photos! On this site! Whatever...
Look Behind You
I positioned myself in my usual spot looking north and east (the best directions for the light) from Chichester Cross this lunchtime, hoping to see something or someone interesting but it was a pretty quiet day. I spent most of the time chatting with another photographer Dan who has been doing the same as me for a little while now, trying to catch those moments of everyday life that stand out from the norm. It was during one of these conversations that I glanced backwards, looking through the Cross and westwards; I spotted this man slowly stepping up and into the stone structure. I've seen him a few times before – he seems to be one of Chichester's small handful of regular homeless people – and felt compelled to take a shot. There's nothing amazingly special about the picture but it was a little different from usual and a reminder to myself that I need to look behind me from time to time. Google+: View post on...
Fall Friday
I've not taken part in one of these #FallFriday theme days (curated by +Karin Nelson and +Stephonie Ogden) yet but on the way back from lunch I spotted a bench adorned with a multitude of nature's discards. Google+: View post on...
Four-Wheeled Friday
It seems that there's a #fourwheeledfriday theme going around these here parts curated by +Matthew Costabile and, since I took a photo of one of my bosses' vintage cars that was in the car park at work yesterday lunchtime, I thought I might as well join in and share. Google+: View post on...
Coffee And Chatter And Rain
Another drizzle-filled lunchtime and I sought shelter under a different spot than usual in part to get a different look at things and in part because it was nearby when the rain started to come down. I'm pretty lazy so it was mostly that latter part. Mobile phones and disposable coffee cups were the order of the day for a great many people, I noticed. Man In A Suit
Another photo taken from the same perspective as the last shot – i.e. seated on the ground – and processed in a similar manner. Google+: View post on...
