This is day five of Doodle Week, as described here and run by the lovely – and boobs-obsessed – Claire.
Time for some mathematical fun!
Today is Doodle Week Day Five. That means that there have now been five doodles on this site over the past five days. If we divide five by five we come up with the average number of doodles on this site per day and that answer is one!
Wait, that wasn’t fun at all.
Today’s theme is:
Doodle Scribble : "I think this is when I get really doodly, normally its while I am sat in class and then can’t make sense of my notes because I have doodled all over them.".

May 12, 2008
This is what I generally scribble while on the phone, in meetings, etc. It’s not really a daydream as such but that’s primarily because the theme was described as Scribble when I noted them all down and someone changed his or her (hint: her) mind.

OK, now am I really needing to go to bed or is there a stressed out turtle hiding in this maze?
May 12, 2008
There may be some hidden things in the picture … and there may not.

Of course I changed my mind, I am female!
Its my Doodle Week 🙂
What does doodling a maze mean?
A maze is a selection of (usually) mixed straight lines and the implication is of a clouded outlook and or judgment as well as inner emotional conflict. Frustration at the speed of which things happen (never fast enough for this artist), but if the doodler has left any "paths" open these may indicate the way in which he or she may take to free themselves of the burden they feel is weighing them down.
🙂

I’ve been analysed. I feel so … dirty.

"Frustration at the speed of which things happen (never fast enough for this artist)"
I found this bit rather amusing 🙂

I have absolutely no idea if I’m being insulted here.

"but if the doodler has left any "paths" open these may indicate the way in which he or she may take to free themselves of the burden they feel is weighing them down"
Riiiight. So this indicates that the way in which you may free yourself of any burden at the moment is to alternate turning left and right and lot. That gonna help much Mark?

I see a hidden sea-horse. Or maybe it’s just some pieces of popcorn. Doodling is harder than I thought.

The maze is one of the oldest metaphor’s for life. See Pan’s Labyrinth for a visually awesome treatment of said subject. That said, I love mazes and this one is very cool.
May 12, 2008
At least you made it solvable, although I did have to carefully navigate through the path of seahorse-popcorn.
May 13, 2008
Lovin’ this one!

Thankyou all.
Les: nope.
Daisy: would you believe that was supposed to be a number three rather than a seahorse. I was trying to add odd numbers into the maze. I couldn’t begin to tell you why though.
Francis: metaphor for life sounds better than a clouded outlook representation. And yes, I’ve got Pan’s Labyrinth; great film.
Haley: it’s solvable! Damn! Forgot to close up all the paths for a laugh.
Elise: thankyou.

My favorite part is the seahorse-popcorn bit! Although the electrified fence part on the right is pretty great too.

My life is too simplified to even attempt to understand that doodle. I feel like such a country bumpkin.
