Having watched the excellent Sherlock Holmes TV series I've taken it upon myself to learn a lesson or two from the fictional detective, first of those being that I try to be more observant of everything around me these days.
Before, I might simply have been able to tell you that this woman had been shopping and was heading east; now, however, I can also add that she had recently received a large payout to compensate for a botched surgery which left her suffering from nerve damage that prevents her noticing when she gets in the way of out-of-control games of full contact tiddlywinks.
