They don't call Chichester the pickpocketing capital of the northern hemisphere for nothing and today I managed to capture a prime example as this girl brazenly sidled up to a man in the precinct and attempted to relieve him of his prized collection of handkerchiefs. Fortunately for him, the girl was an amateur – relying on the distractive qualities of her leggings over any sleight-of-hand skill – and he detected her nefarious activity almost immediately; you can see from the shot I caught that he is a split-second away from throwing her to the floor and then performing an enthusiastic body slam as a means of street justice. It's the only language these curs understand.
