That's my little (he's bigger now) brother on the left and me on the right (aged around nine, at a guess) proudly holding the Progress Cup while my mum or dad take one of their patented Not-Quite-All-Of-The-Head shots they seemed to find so fascinating if looking through old photos is anything to go by.
I don't actually remember what the Progress Cup was awarded for but if I had to guess from the shirt I'm wearing in that picture I'd say it had something to do with desert warfare.
